About the Artist: Magic Man consists of 4 pretty awesome dudes (Alex Caplow, Sam Vanderhoop Lee, Joey Sulkowski, and Gabe Goodman) and one really awesome gal (Justine Bowe) who create and perform synthrock/synthpop styles of music. Forming back in 2010, the group consisted only of Caplow and Vanderhoop Lee. Sulkowski, Goodman, and Bowe were all friends of the two in college, and later all came together to form the group as it's known today. Their EP "You Are Here" was released in 2013, and while it only featured a few tunes, it certainly showed off the uniqueness of their musical stylings, which became even more apparent in the songs featured on their first full length album, "Before the Waves", which was just released in July. Their music always seems to get me in a wonderful kind of mood, and if you're feeling like spontaneously bustin' out some moves, or just looking for some amazing music, give these guys (and girl) a listen.
