About the artist: Ben Rector is a Nashville-based musician, who released his 6th album, The Walking In Between, in August of 2013. His musical and songwriting influences include James Taylor, Paul McCartney, Randy Newman, Sam Cooke, and Billy Joel. His blend of pop and rock musical styles, along with his unique lyricism come together to form works of art, as far as his albums are concerned. He writes the kind of music that not only makes you think about the lyrics, but also gets relentlessly stuck in your head. Past albums include Something Like This, Into the Morning, Jingles and Bells, Songs that Duke Wrote, and Twenty Tomorrow.
Key Songs(in my opinion, at least): "When I'm With You", "Sailboat", "Wildfire", "Song for the Suburbs", "You and Me", "Way I Am", "Moving Backwards", "And Then You Love Someone", and oh, so many more.
